Needing to leave the match early, he ensured the game followed his own agenda by batting at number one and knocking off the Itinerants’ score in just 19 overs. He finished on 94 not out off…wait for it…47 balls. And just to top it off, he moved from 51 to 94 in the space of 13 balls. It’s surely only a matter of time before Jelly Babies offer him a six-figure sponsorship deal.
